July in Colorado; it’s the peak of wildflower season, mountains bathed in the long light of summer, and the perfect time for a mountain wedding. Luxi & Matt shared all the enchanting magic of Colorado, the backdrop of their love story, with friends & family at the Grand Hyatt in Vail, CO.

The Ceremony

With the flow of Gore Creek and a backdrop of green aspen trees in the background, the ceremony at the Grand Hyatt courtyard was the perfect place for a ceremony filled with organic floral details. Featuring a lush ground arch, and rear aisle arrangements the couple was framed with floral arrangements that were full of movement and texture to emphasize the natural feel of the space.

The Reception

Bringing a natural, color filled design to a classic Colorado tented reception space was important to Luxi. We utilized draping greenery to brake up the white paneled ceiling. Each guest was greeted with a thoughtfully designed centerpiece. Utilizing color and shape we aimed to bring the beauty of the Colorado wildflowers right to each table. All ingredients were locally sourced.
